Provident Data Centers has appointed Dr. Denitza Arguirova as a Director in Data Center Development, bringing her technical expertise to support the company’s nationwide expansion with a focus on sustainable and community-centric infrastructure projects
Provident Data Centers, a division of Dallas-based real estate and investment firm Provident, has announced the appointment of Denitza Arguirova, Ph.D., as Director, Data Center Development. Dr. Arguirova brings deep knowledge in data center development, data science and project management and will play a key role as the company continues its strategic nationwide growth.
Dr. Arguirova holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Labor Markets from Université Paris-Est, a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance and International Business from Oxford Brookes University.
Her journey into the data centre industry was inspired during her first job out of graduate school, where she developed data algorithmic models for improving national education systems and infrastructure globally.
Dr. Arguirova soon moved into the technology sector, where her strong academic foundation has fueled her career in economic development and infrastructure projects across multiple industries.
At Provident, she views open dialogue and collaboration with surrounding communities as one of her most important roles. “We prioritise selecting the right sites – that’s the foundation,” she said. “But what sets us apart is our commitment to integrating the community into the process, ensuring that data centre development is aligned with local needs and growth.”
She serves as a member of the Legislative Committee of the Texas Nuclear Alliance, reflecting her interest in alternative clean energy sources. She is also a board member of the High-Tech High Heels organisation, which supports the advancement of women in technology.

In her role, Dr. Arguirova manages the company’s comprehensive data center portfolio, overseeing site selection and evaluation, entitlements and engineering, including collaborating closely with utility providers, while serving as the critical link between various stakeholders.
