Forum Markets and Edge Node AI launch US inference network with 2027 revenue target of US$175 million

Forum Markets and Edge Node AI are to deploy high-performance artificial intelligence inference computing across existing powered data centres and mobile communications towers in the US.

The joint venture, Forum Edge AI LLC, was formed with Forum holding 51% ownership and Edge Node AI retaining 49%. Forum will manage the business and consolidate its financial results.

The initial portfolio includes 2 MW of capacity at a Dallas data centre, a 9 MW campus in High Point, North Carolina and an initial Texas communications tower deployment offering approximately 1–2 MW.

Forum has introduced consolidated revenue guidance of US$125 million to US$175 million for 2027, reflecting the anticipated contribution of the initial deployment. The company continues to anticipate becoming cash flow positive in early 2027.

The Dallas facility currently operates approximately 2 MW of power, with capacity expected to increase to approximately 4 MW by early 2027. The joint venture will receive 2 MW, while Edge Node AI already operates the remaining 2 MW.

In High Point, the venture has signed an agreement to acquire a six-building, five-acre campus with 9 MW of live utility power. Approximately 6 MW of GPU capacity is expected to energise in the first quarter of 2027.

The first mobile tower installation is expected by mid-2027, under separate agreements with SBA Communications and Tillman Infrastructure. Additional tower sites could follow, subject to performance milestones.

Forum said compute capacity from the initial deployment is being allocated to long-term offtake partners, with equipment expenditure funded through customer deposits and equipment financing. No equity issuance is required to establish the initial deployment or achieve the revenue guidance.

Each project will operate through a separate special purpose vehicle, with independent financing and no cross-collateralisation between projects. The structure is designed to contain financial risk at individual sites.

The companies will also exchange 9.95% equity stakes, subject to specified power and financing milestones.

The venture will focus on inference workloads, which run trained AI models in production. Its metropolitan locations are intended to reduce latency by placing GPU computing closer to customers.

The network will follow a hub-and-spoke model, with data centres supporting smaller computing installations at communications towers. Existing power, connectivity and permits are intended to accelerate deployment compared with new construction.

Edge Node AI, an approved NVIDIA partner, will license its variable-load inference technology and provide technical personnel to operate the infrastructure.

Forum will hold a right of first refusal on data centre and tower sites originated by Edge Node AI, alongside rights relating to compute capacity across the joint venture’s projects.

Forum’s Chairman and CEO McAndrew Rudisill, said the investment followed a deliberate assessment of AI infrastructure financing opportunities.

The transaction also advances Forum’s strategy of investing in cash-generating assets across AI infrastructure, commercial aerospace, manufactured housing finance and auto credit.

Forum said its 2027 guidance excludes any potential expansion beyond the initial deployment phase, which extends through mid-2027. Further installations remain dependent on financing, project execution and commercial demand.
